Philip Zelikow and an early effort at transparency

Feb. 4, 2008: Welcome to the blog for my new book, "The Commission." My goal is to use this website to expand on the book -- to add value to it. So I'll start by sharing with readers an especially valuable bit of my research material: My lengthy email exchange dating back to January 2007 with Philip Zelikow, the executive director of the commission. Please clickthru to "Behind the Book" section of the website. Dr. Zelikow is entitled to a full airing of his response to the material about him in this book. Phil Shenon

Are you aware of Zelikow's recent appearance on Democracy Now!

It looked like damage control to me.

Zelikow posits himself as an anti-torture champion, and yet he told the Annual Lecture, Houston Journal of International Law, (on April 26, 2007) that "good intelligence can be gained by physically tormenting captives".

So now we have a 911 official story largely based on information extracted by torture, and the Pentagon want to execute the prisoners who provided that information before they have an opportunity to either retract or confirm it in a free and fair court!

DEMAND A NEW 911 ENQUIRY!
